HOW TO WEAR A CAPE

BURBERRY PRORSUM
CAPE LEFTIES; MARYPAZ BAG AND BOOTS

CAPE H&M

CAPE NATURA;

CAPE TJ MAXX; H&M PANTS; BUFFALO BOOTS

CAPE TOPSHOP; ZARA BOOTS; ZIGN BAG

CAPE (VINTAGE); ZARA HEELS; BAG (VINTAGE)

CAPE ZARA; ME&MY PULL; BERSHKA BOOTS
The cape is this season's wardrobe show piece. This trend can be a tricky mistress to master; Surely we don't like looking like Wonder Woman or Little Red Hiding Hood. So, how to wear a cape?
1. Opt for a colour or print that you know suits.
2. It's about layering, so wear a cape over cosy jumpers, dresses, polo-necks and yes, the blanket/poncho looks do work over a lightweight coat.
3. Everyday is a cape day: dress yours up (knee high boots, leather skirt, embellished clutch) and down (jeans, trainers, neoprene jumper) - and remember confidence is key.

Do: Wear your cape over slim-fit sweaters and tops.
Don’t: Wear your cape over bulky knits or loose-sleeved tops. There should be a definite contrast between the bell shape of your cape and whatever you’re wearing underneath.
Do: Wear it with work wear like button-ups and pencil skirts.
Don’t: Wear over billowy, flowy dresses. You want to keep your silhouette clean and tailored.

 As for me... I HATE capes, but looking at this pics, I could change my mind :)))
